17&20 RN SJ Rideplate and Ada heads

I have 2 RN SJ,s a 17 & 20. Just installed worx 228, 0 and 4 degree bars and Odi grips. Also did hydro turf. I’ve seen a couple options for ride plates, jet dynamics and worx, we ride flat water free ride style jumping boat wakes etc. We want to be able to break the tail loose as well. But I also like to be able to go fast, and would like to see a reduction in the chine walking. Being 225lbs I was looking at the jet dynamics extended ride plate. Looking for the best all around option. I’ll have to buy 2 so I want to get it right the first time!
Can anyone chime in on which one is better?
Also purchased 2 Ada heads with 35cc domes. There are a couple things coming off the stock head, one is a small 1/8” OD black hose going to the exhaust manifold and the other is a wire, must be a high temp shutdown. What is everyone doing with these? Is it worth running the head without a b pipe and just running stock exhaust? Or should I wait until I get a pipe to install?

The best ride plate is the stock plate unless you are racing. If you have the head you may as well install it. The small black hose is probably a water line, the wire is a temp sensor. Most people cut them off or tuck them away behind the ebox. You might be able to dry out the stock exhaust for a little more power as well.

Thanks Quinc for the response. I was just looking at the stock exhaust and it’s supported off the top of the factory head. If I remove the mount and install Ada head the Stock Yamaha expansion chamber will just be floating with no support. I’m curious if anyone has a solution to this?

Pretty sure ADA makes an adapter plate for the pipe mount. No, you can't run it with the pipe not being supported.
Thank you for the help I bought the adapters and well, paid for 2 and received one. I will say they shipped amazingly fast though! Too bad they were sooo fast they forgot one!
I got one on now with a little milling on the stock mount to get the holes to line up.
My next question is how are you guys running the lines off the top of the head? One is obvious. The other looks to be a pisser into the expansion chamber. So cap it or run it?09589DA6-F1F3-4A1C-BA47-C7F2CFC6ECBD.jpeg
