300/440/550 1985 550 Idle Adjustment

Does anyone have a picture of what screw I need to turn to adjust the idle on a 1985 550? Would like to increase the idle speed just a bit, right now when someone falls off the ski it will die in a few seconds instead of keeping running to circle around.

Follow the throttle cable down to the carb. It is very close to where it attaches to the carb. It will have a spring on the screw.

I have this same issue as I dont have a lanyard start/stop switch! I'm wondering if having it set like that will hurt anything. It's stalling vs killing ignition.. IDK. Follow the throttle cable to a screw with a spring on it. I believe you turn it in to increase and out to decrease. As long as you don't adjust the ones pointing into the body of the carb you should have the correct screw.
