its all about the ride . . . .

Answer is too vague.

See what I mean...., nothing tangible or detailed. What about the ride? I'm starting to thing you SJ guys are bias for no good reason. Just like my 15 yr old daughter says..., "Just because".

never ridden a 750sxi... but ive ridden a kawi 650. and i own two superjets. there is no comparison. the superjet is more stable. in my opinion easier to mod because darn near everything is switchable from 1990-now, if you buy the 750 and get more into it you will someday hop on someones sj for a hour and be like whyyyy didnt i buy the superjet. just my $.02...

2 cents appreciated.

Although, Kawi 650sx and 750sx are 2 completely different beasts. I had the 'holy crap' experience when I had my '87 650sx. My bud had me try his new '93 750sx. Sold mine and bought a 750sx within a month.

i have a sj and a 750sx, but i am trading it for a b1 with a bpipe. the sj compared to the 750sx, big difference. better bottom end for jumping and lighter. i rode a friends 650sx, he had two, then my superjet and then the 750sx. hands down the sj is more flickable, even my buddy has sold his kawis and is now riding a sj. he said what every one else says, why didn't i get a sj to start with.

My reason is simple, and tangible.

I have owned BOTH skis.

I enjoy the superjet WAY more.
I had fun on the 750sx, but not nearly as much fun as on my squarenose.

in stock form, the superjet is easier to ride, and makes more power down low, its more suited to wave jumping, and that sort of stuff, than a 750sx.

my 750sx was way faster, but that just means I fell alot more, and had more spectacular assholes and elbows type of cartwheel plunges.

Okay, everyone says SJ. But I hear no tangible reasons. Can someone tell me what the difference is, in a detailed answer. I see guys doin the same tricks, with the same smile on their faces on both skis (750sx and SJ).

I ride a mint 99 750sxi/pro. Was planning to sink $1200 into it for mods over the winter, pipe and a few others. At that price I can pick up an okay SJ, and join the crowd. But why, what is the huge advantage everyone seems to be taking about with the SJ???
