1990 SN 701 upgrade path.

New user here. Pretty new to the superjet game as I just messed around on a friends superjet until I bought a ‘90 SN 650 in the beginning of this summer, and it came with a protec head and pipe (Mach 1 I believe, it’s gray). Just yesterday I bought a cheap waveraider with a full 62t 701 in hopes of slowly upgrading from the 650. I do about 80% throttle blipping freestyle and 20% racing around the lake. I was hoping to get a reliable ski with enough punch out of the bottom to do whips and tight turns. After the small amount of research I’ve done, I’m just curious as to what’s worth upgrading out of the gate to get a decent performer. Is a head worth it, girdled or not, or a different pipe besides the protec on the 650?
