1990 Superjet Build

I am in the process of doing footholds and turf. I want to know what I should do with the engine mods. Currently running stock motor, Solas 13/17 Concord repitched to 12/17 and cut -3mm, stock ride plate and a protec intake grate. Mostly flatwater riding and want to keep as reliable as stock. Any ideas? Pipes? What jetting necessary? Any info would help.

We just built a 1990 SuperJet. We bored out the top case and put a 701 cylinder on it, and and bored the cylinder 1mm over to a 718cc and milled the head. With a RIVA red pipe, and a solas prop.

put a pipe on it and change your jets, you'll notice all the difference in the world. and in your wallet to, if you buy a new pipe

So just got done re-painting my ski Black metalic saphire with a 350z silver handpole. Looks sick, Riva red pipe is in the mail, Riva groovy ride plate and a riva intake grate. Also ordered a wolf pump cone. As far as the jetting for the pipe what size and am I going to need reeds? Ill post some pics later tell me what ya think. Thanks

I'm assuming your motor is still a 650?
I'd pick up a 61X(701) cylinder. Bore cases to fit the sleeves....

I really dont want to break the seal just yet. I am looking to keep it simple, I have heard just adding the pipe and a few little things will wake the 650 up. If its not enough power ill move it up.

if you keep the 650, get a pipe, milled or afteramrket head and do the 650 rev limiter mod !!, scoop grate , That will wake the ski up
