Which is it?? The Solas impeller installaton instruction and the Kawaski service manual (applicable for 1990 - I have a 1991) both state that the impeller is "right had threaded" - meaning to remove the impeller you turn it counter-clockwise. The Clymer manual for 1976-1991 states the impeller is "left hand threaded" - meaning you remove the impeller by turning it clockwise.
So which is it?? I can't get the impeller off. I've heated it with heat gun and now I have some WD-40 soaking on the threads to try and break it free.
I'm replacing the original impeller with a Solas 13/18 , I have the impeller tool and I've got it clamped in a vice - before I use a three foot breaker-bar on it I want to make sure I'm turning it the correct way.......thanks.
