SX/SXi/SXi Pro 1992 750sx with pjs viper 9000 needs new top end. How do i find parts?

Just picked up the ski this weekend. Rode it for the day and tore it down. Some piston and cylinder scaring. it has a complete pjs top end kit with 85mm pistons. Does anyone know where i can find info on this motor and parts? Thank you for any help that you may be able to give me.

Does it have the 650 lower end with the 18mm wrist pins or is it one of the hybrids that is using a small pin 750 set of cases with the 750 crank (20mm pins).

I am not sure. It looks the same as the stock 1994 that a friend has. How do you tell? Its actually my cousins ski and i am trying to find some info for him. What i am looking for is where to find new jugs, pistons, rings and a gasket set, or who to contact to get info and or parts

Tim @ Zforce can probably help you out, If your cylinders arent tore up too bad he can probably clean em up and get you some new pistons, He also has all the gaskets you could need.

ok, been searching everywhere for parts. All i have found is a so called slightly used pjs viper 9000 engine, but dont want to buy another one just to have this same problem down the road. What is the best alternative? Would i be better off getting a stock 750 or maybe swapping in a sxr motor. If so what would it take to do the swap? Just trying to figure the best way to go. My goal is to have an awesome ski that is reliable and not have to work on it all the time. I know those two words dont always go together but you never know. Any advice would be appreciated. If anyone has a motor for sell that i might be interested in let me know.
