Not familiar with this particular ski. What would be the value of a non running wb1 because it had been sitting for a long time. As far as I can tell,nothing mechanically wrong with it.
Hull is in average shape. Waiting on more pictures and info but don't know if I should waste my time.
Guy is asking 750 with a two ski trailer. Trailer is in fair shape with needing new bunk boards and carpet

750 is fair. 500$ would be good. Cost you less then 500$ to put another engine or rebuild the one that is in it.

Does he have the title to the ski or the trailer? That's a big one. If so, $750 is not bad, but tell him $450 and see what he says. You never know how much it might cost to get it up and running.

I'm going to ask about the title. That's a big problem in Texas,trying to title without one. The guy is out of state. Is there anything to ask or look for that is unique to this ski. Problem areas to look for?

If its titled its worth his asking price. A crappy double trailer will sell for that up here. Pay the man!

That's worth it. Up here you can't touch a good double trailer for under 750$

Look for cracks in the rear transom area. If it was used in the surf B1s usually crack in that area.

For that price I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.

I talked to the guy. He said the engine won't turn over. He left the plugs out when he parked it 6 years ago,and thinks the rings or pistons are seized.
Could I just look up parts for a 701. Rebuilt crank and new pistons with rings. Do i need to know anything else about a 701 to locate replacement parts.

What would be the value of the way it stands of the rings are the issue? Thanks

Dude, go buy the thing. If you don't want to mess with rebuilding it just get a replacement motor from SBT. Not sure who here will do an engine exchange.
