1994 x2 with 750 swap plus mods

I’m pretty new to the x2 jet ski life and have came across one for sale for 2500. My buddy has bought a built wave blaster from the same guy so pretty certain it is in good shape. I have been told it had a 750 swap and complete rebuild with only about 20 hours on it. It has the following Mods : Accusteer billet steering system, Skattrak 1018 impeller, JD concave ride plate, ADA billet girdle head kit, 190 psi, dual cooling lines, ported cylinder, Carbonteck Reed cages with carbon fiber Reed's, R&D intake manifold, West coast exhaust manifold, factory mod pipe with c4 chamber, drilled Factory pipe water box, lighten stock flywheel. Has 23 hours on complete te rebuild. Ski is on the loud side. Also has a bilge pump and new Mikuni 44mm after market carb, and prok flame arrestor. Also moded Cdi box.

I am pretty certain it is worth the money if now a good bit more I just want to make sure since I am fairly new to this.

I have limited experience with the 750 but I have seen 2 of them have the flywheel grenade on them very easily. They will get loose at the rivets. It's definitely worth keeping in mind because it doesn't seem to be year consistent. I have seen it happen on a 95 and I think 94 but have read about it several times outside of my personal experience. Also, the 750 and 800 use the same crank, again from personal experience I have seen an 800 blow a rod and saw the crank case in half. It seems to always be on the side with the starter too as it takes that out with the cases. As for parts, it certainly has a nice package for parts at least. The electronics on Kawi have unfortunately always been weak at best. I've gone through a few coil/cdi igniters on my old 650 but similarly the 750/800's I have worked on I could never get the random electrical misfire or off-timing to clean up. It was one of the reasons I left Kawi and never looked back. The old 2001 Kawi KVF 400 4x4 ATV I bought new had many of the same issues, weak electrical and that particular machine was constantly having parts randomly fall off. The fuel valve knob, fell off during a ride, headlight pod, loosened and fell off the bars...it was a constant nightmare. Then I worked for Kawi maintaining the 650/750 V-twin ATV's...keep away...far away lol. Here is a link to give you some decent balanced view... https://www.groupk.com/k750.htm
