You may need to bypass the oil wires to keep it from alarming. If you can run it with them in place, it will keep the ebox sealed. If you remove them, you will need to plug the hole that they went through. You can remove the lines for the trim, oil and temp sensors. You can run the box otherwise. I had mine strapped to the gas tank where the oil fill goes but the rad dudes surf brace has a nice mount. You will need to get a pipe that works with that motor. Westcoast, coffmans or PJS fit nicely. FPP works best but requires a westcoast manifold bored to match the pipe (or you can use the FPP manifold and cut the hull so the pipe fits). SJ limited or mod chamber work well with the FPP pipe, but just about every chamber has made it into a X2 with some work. Otherwise it's a simple conversion.

Edit: My ebox was already plugged up. I'm not sure if the motor will run with the oil sensor just unplugged, but I'm pretty sure it will.

you can just leave the wires/harness unplug with no issues

all my 750 n 800 X2s just have the plugs hanging...my 750 SC i actually cut back the wires.
