1995 kawi sxi barn find what mods to do?

I have come across a mint 1995 sxi, with almost 10 hours bone stock

it runs flawless, it still has the oil injection,

I bought it for my 11 year old daughter to race in her stock class division,

what would be the best bang for the buck handling and performance mods to do first,

are the worx ride plates the easiest to ride?

The list I was thinking was the following, but not sure of the brand to get?
1. handle pole spring tensioner
2. intake grate ? which one
3. ride plate?? which one
4. plug n play timing advance?? which one
5. prop?? what pitch
6. Bars?
7 grips
8 finger throttle
9. kill switch update plate
10. mats

many thanks for anyone's input

I would first get rid of the oil injection and the crank case drain.

A quick steer plate is a good, cheap handling mod. Add new bars and grips (possibly finger throttle) for a nice tight feel. Add a pipe, you can find pipes for those skis decently cheap.

R&D advance plate or msd ignition
R&D scoop grate
R&D extended ride plate
Tubbie 2's or destroyers will help straight line stability a ton
If your doing bars and a steering plate I like the JRE setup. Its a quick steer plate with two piece bars that are adjustable. The bars are solid not hollow and feel nice
for a race ski you will probably want a stock SXR impeller or a 12/18 skat swirl big hub
I like the TBM super cone also to help the pump, made a big difference on my ski and is adjustable (3 cone sizes)
I cant imagine not having a finger throttle on any ski, hot products or blowsion??? I use the stock one still on my pro
factory pipe Limited will be the best bang for the buck mod, also look into a milled head or am head for better compression and cooling (I have a milled sxi pro head I need to sell, its set up with dual cooling fittings. should make about 175psi on a 750. It made 165 on my ported 800 cylinder)

Like matt said, get that oil injection off and block the case drain asap. both are easy failure points

many thanks for the input,
what about the worx extended ride plate with the D cut out? it is like 17.5 inches,
and I also saw a rapid ride plate with the D cut out, it is 15 inches long?

I tried a worx d cut and hated it, i had hull extensions at the time though. It caused so much nose pressure it was hard to turn at speed. It did plane extremely quickly though. I prefer the R&D extended plate 115mm I believe. I use that or a stock plate I shortened and d cut (for freestyle) I have a set of extensions off my ski but I think they only fit the pro hull. The pre 98 chines are shaped a little different. They work awesome cut to 2" when using tubbies, it rails crazy

the pole spring is a must, To me it makes all the difference in the world not having to "hold up" the 5lbs of pole all day riding.

Bars and grips make a big difference too. I would let her ride it and get as much feedback as you can from her. I guess it all depends on how heavy you want to get into racing
