1995 Yamaha Superjet CUSTOM -SOLD-

It's tough these days.....everybody wants something for nothing.
PARTS NEEDED FOR COMPLETION:
Throttle cable adaptor for lever
Bilge pump switch
Internal fill neck for tank.
Engine mounts
Engine and electronics
Midshaft/ I have one but it is junky.
Long hose for exhaust is too small for the upgraded exhaust tube but comes with the ski

I would argue its more that people realize after adding an engine, b pipe, and the rest of the driveline and parts, you are in for total of $5k or more to have a running squarenose.

I think you should either just keep the square or put a stock driveline in it and sell it at the price you have it listed for. As nice as a ski it is and all of the work you put into it, at the end of the day, it's still a square nose. I was only able to get 2300 bucks for my round nose hull with hood, rrp pole, rocker nose, wide tray with rrp adjustable style foot holds and shortened -4 inches. I did a lot of glass repair and reinforcement on that hull as well. I also paid 2500 bucks for my superfreak project hull. Just something to consider.

I never said the price is firm… Never said I wouldn’t negotiate! Just because YOU don’t want a SN, doesn’t mean nobody wants one.
It’s not me, I think it looks great. I’ve noticed highly customized stuff seems to have a more narrow appeal compared to generic stuff. That’s all. Lots of people would rather eat at McDonalds, for some strange reason.

Spare parts are not free, at some point they were paid for.
but if you aren’t using the parts, are they really worth anything sitting on a shelf? Whose to say they will be worth any more or less later on… Value is completely individualistic, what’s worth something to you might be worthless to me and vise versa. I get that some people might not see value in my ski, but that doesn’t mean that I spent any less time or money creating it. Like you said, it was all paid for at some point. Is $5k worth it for a really nice complete running Yamaha? I think so 100%

Like I said before, make an offer :)
