1996 to 2020 Yamaha Superjet nose reinforcement/repair pieces (Upper and Lower)

Since I haven't actually posted a new product release page for these products I think the time has come to advertise these items.


I designed and built these to fit over the existing top deck or hull. The edges are finished along with a polished surface for a clean look. They can be used to strengthen the front flange or can be used to overlap light damage. For major damage I recommend graft in pieces which I can also make. Installation is very easy as I pre-fit every piece to ensure proper size. Any two-part epoxy adhesive can be used per personal preference.

These have a gel coat finish with vinylester resin used for lamination. I use uv marine clear for the visual carbon pieces. Standard lay-up with chopped mat, cloth, and double bias material.

Upper and lower together in black with visual carbon - $450 Black or white together - $350. Other colors are available at an additional cost. See individual pricing listed below.

This is another item I have for the 1996-2007 superjet. This reinforcement/repair piece fits under the lower flange area. It can be used for strengthening the nose or a small repair. The use of a two-part epoxy adhesive is recommended for proper installation.

I think the nose cover and bumper in one is a bad idea. It would have to be two pieces.

I'll gladly build the lower bottom half reinforcement. But I would like to see more than just a few people request it.

I have this nose piece on my sj, and it's great. I've slammed the bottom of the ocean quite a few times since I've had it. I don't have a single stress crack on the nose of my ski because of the reinforcement.

Bump for making your ski a surf weapon.
