This was sent to me by Marc “The Shark” Sickerling. Having placed second to Alesander Lenzi the year prior, this would be my last competition. Eighteen competitors that day. Do , or die. It was also one of the last WF held at the Nautical Inn. 26 years ago.

Ha… I knew that was coming! I’m *pretty sure* that the video of what happened to the BlunderJet, is on one of these VHS tapes. I just need to get off my ass and go through them.

[Flat Water]Flipping a jet ski hadn't happened, yet. It wasn't even deemed possible. It wouldn't be until 2004 when Malone performed the first flat water backflip, in competition, at World Finals. Spectators lost their minds. Flatwater freestyle, as we knew it... would never be the same .

Back when freestyle was freestyle and the back flip was called the rickter invert. The current freestyle is out of hand in my opinion.
