2 seized engines, need help with jetting.

I bet if you posted some pictures of the pistons especially the tops it would be easier for the gurus to diagnose. Its hard to believe the 61x is such a reliable motor it should run WFO all day long as long as its put together right. Are you sure no water is leaking in? it will cause the motor to seize and looking at the top of piston will tell you. At 4000ft elev. detonation and jetting dosnt sound like your problem nor lubication. I run the cheapest 2stroke oil I can find never had a problem and I`m old.

Pressure testing the cooling system is fairly easy to do and will tell you. More than likely its the exhaust manifold but could be a cracked cylinder. It just seems that this thread was overthought and its something simple.

I believe it was fuel with ethanol. Put it back together after the last seize and used a mix of 110 and 91 to get 94 octane. Using red line oil at 40:1. Runs good now. Haven't pulled the head to see what the piston tops look like yet but will soon. Still need to do some carb adjusting but it rips for now!
