Thanks for the input guys
Putting on b-pipe,adagirdled head 35cc domes and wanted to run a good oil.
I read,i think in one of sluts threads that yamaboob oil can leave a nazty black gummy residue in the pipe and was wondering what would be best to run
The premix ratio i'll be using after it's back together 40:1 on 92 octane.
Wamilton suggested either the Klotz oil or Yamalube "R"

HAMMER

You're always going to have that nasty black sludge after a while. Make sure your carbs are dialed in correctly and that will help the most.

They won't step in because they have no data outside their lab to back up their 2 stroke oils. If you ever visit bobistheoilguy.com, youll see why most ppl are not real keen on running amsoil 2 stroke oil due to no certified testing!!!!

Intersting site. I would like to see him do little testing on the Maxima's, Yamalube's, etc... I'm sure many people that use designer oils would be disappointed in what they are paying for. The Lucas Oil test was very interesting. Just goes to show you, don't believe everything you hear. And I guess if it is all about the smell, go to MacDonalds and get a little of their left over bio oil and mix it. You will smell like french fries heading down the water, lol! Maybe a little Virgin olive oil with a hint of garlic...Fetuccine anyone?

i have only used pennzoil premium plus in my piped, head, and ported sj and have had no problems. last time i had checked the compression it had not changed. this year so far I have ran about 130 gallons through it and it is still pulling hard. if i were to change i would go to maxima castor oil.......i love the way it smells. :smlove2:

Yamalube and Kawichem are both made by citgo. I am further investigating on what the equivelant citgo oils are to both of these!!

As far as I know, klotz has been twc3 certified and rated, while maxima does not carry the certification!!!!!!!

I've run a lot of different oil's in my dirt bikes and ski's. So far the best oil I have used is the Amsoil dominator oil. I used havoline in my SXR for a summer and it worked but I had trouble with it fouling plugs. I used the benol, maxima, silkolene, and amsoil dominator and i've gotten the best looking top-end from the amsoil and it's the least gummy oil. A lot of the other oils are gummy, I wouldn't use them unless you are racing or screaming a lot because they will carbon up your motor.

I have been running the amsoil hp oil. I run it in my sled, dirt bike, and just switched my super jet and waveblaster to it. I found the yamalube smokes alot. (not cool)

Amsoil, seems to smoke less(same ratio), it seems to burn somewhat odourless.

Plus, it's a pretty blue!!
