traced it out on mine...Looks easy to do. I think anymore than two inches you'll run into problems with the rear rideplate mounts.

When/if I do mine I'll make sure to fab up some hull extensions in case I decide I hate it..

Speed Magic's lightweight hull is cut have 50mm (just shy of 2 inches)..

i think ill do it? i have a idea on how to not mess up the bottom gel coat to bad.an have a lil carbon to make it look pretty!

You end up cutting it yet? If so how far back are you cutting it?

When I do mine I plane on removing the rear exhaust and putting in two home depot/menards oneways. Not sure to go out the back with them or into the pump..

what are the metal tabs the cover the ride plate holes/screws? can i just pop them off? i want to cut at the bolt holes so i dont have to replace them.

I would guess you can pop them off since the front ones are like that? Maybe once you get the hull cut off reinforce the back mounts?

post some pics, planning on doing this in the next month or so

keep the weight off and only put a scupper inlet hole and an outlet then just mount the scupper on the back. I ripped out my inner scupper tube, thing was pretty heavy. I have no issues running it this way. Goingbigger gave my this tip

I wonder if I have water floating around in my hull outside of the scuppertube. I am gonna fire a few holes in the bottom of it and see if it is dry in there.

The foam got wet even though it was sealed. When I opened it up it had a lot of water inside. I believe the foam will drip dry in between rides. It saves a lot of weight and it's easy. I wouldn't leave my ski in the water very long though, it sinks pretty fast. It drains much faster too, basically as you are taking off you are transfering much more water to the scupper area faster. Not a good idea if you leave it in the water for some time...
