Thanks, I think I just sold my jeep so I might be able to put something other than a 650 in it. I attached the hood to the pole with 4 bolts. 2 up front and 2 in the back under the steering. Theres backing plates on the front holes and there is a bracket that I made to connect the steering plate to the hood which is also a backing plate for the 2 bolts in the back. Its pretty strong, I stand on it and pretend to throw rolls, I put all my weight on it and it doesnt budge. Some people want me to glass over the pole, but I think it would look too clean:icon16:

She's held together real good. I ended up putting a 701 instead of a 650. It was fun in the surf, all 15 minutes i was out there. I didnt have a bildge pump the first time I took it out so it had a bit of water in it and i guess when i did a roll water got in the carb so that was that down in the ocean. I have ridden it 2 times on the lake since then. I would have to say that its a surf ski for sure. I spent 1 day trying to do flat water rolls but never got all the way around. It turns so crazy with 5'' cut off the back, I love it. She rolls sooooooooooooo easy
