I decided to keep the Red anodized parts and go with the theme but the superman blue and red had to go.

My build list of things I want to try this year:

Dasa PV motor, 89mm bore, 10mm stroke

Porting, trenching, epoxy and assembly by Dasa

One or two tricks inside for longevity and performance :)

49mm Full Specs, new 2012 style

Thrust air box billet adapers

Thrust hood hooks

New MSD enhancer for now. Surf reliability, thanks guys for reminding me!

Debatied between the FP Mod and the Power Factor. Decided to go with Mod for tank and surf. Ported to 50mm and clearanced by DASA.

More to come on that as I decided to buy a PFP w/waterbox. Just need a tank and mounting straps. I want 4 gals for surf.

Skat 2" set back Mag 144mm with 9/17 pitch, still tweaking this

Bored nozzle 86mm

Pro Tec steering nozzle

New OEM cables, steeering and SN throttle

New OEM starter and Bendix, cables, etc

Thanks guys, I hope I can gain some of Chris's skills this weekend and get it around on FW. :)

Call Mike at HT and tell him your looking for a flat sheet. Great stuff, I will be using more of this on future builds.

LOL, the super dad will be coming off maybe. That was from the superman themed look with blue and red

Rode her again last night. This thing rips for being on a Factory pipe. Tons of power down low, where I'm used to it. Very very happy with everything so far

We have been riding thsi ski alot. Mostly great feedback so far. 10mm with a B pipe and a mag is definitely fun in the surf. 2' waves are a blast and 3' or larger you can do anything on them with this. Best new motor I have ridden to date. Still some tuning to do on the B pipe as I want to see its full potential before changing to the PFP, hopefully next week.

Congrats to Frosty for BF this thing first try!

Was practicing some BF on the Fourth, dont kick out on a bad BF, LOL facial lacerations and stitches. Good thing the helmet took the brunt of the hit.

So far I'm really pleased and believe I could leave this as is and be happy for a few years in the surf and or flat for BR and others. I want a bit more for Flatwater BFs and hope it does not kill the reliability or usability in the surf. Oh well i can always go back as it is pretty close to perfect now.

Also picked up a TL to try in the future now also. I will build a water proof box before trying

Thanks, about 20 hours on her now and she runs strong for a B pipe. Still not doing flat water BFs yet, but as soon as I get it figured out it will. Ski has skills, now I need some. I can definitely say after riding a few really nice skis lately, after market, Rickter, Xscream, EME, that there is no substitute for skill. HP is great but you still need ot know what you are doing. Only issues I have been having with the ski is that the paper filters keep plugging up my return line restrictor every few tanks of fuel.

Got a few more tanks through this beast, and rode a few other set ups and I think I really like this package. It is not a Flat Water only ski, but a surf/flat water ski. After riding my old black ski yesterday I was amazed at how all the differences in the new ski I now like, I hated the new RRP footholds at first, now I cant get locked in my other ones. Didnt like the shorter pole, but just went another - 1.5" and really like it. Digging the tubbies and the MAG was not that big of a deal on the 701 but with the 10mm it grabs. Tried to do a FW roll on the stocker yesterday, that I have done hundreds of times before, and ended up with a stab, lol. got bored with it in 5 minutes. I cant say enough about the motor with a B pipe, the bottom end is insane. Big block torque. BTW, I have to thank Kyle and DAn at DASA for really helping me out on this package, never thought a 10mm would be this stable, clean, reliable, and powerful. I thought the 850 SS was the way to go for reliability, but so far this thing has been bullet proof. If I would ahve thought this two years ago I would ahve tried this package then. Thanks DASA, there is a reason why there is only one letter difference from DASA to NASA, Space shot ready motors.

Thanks for the update Brian, It's good to hear reviews on the some of the Aftermarket engines. It really helps those of us that are in the market or thinking about going big in the near future narrow down the choices

Marc, come down and ride this thing, sorry I had to take off Sat night, dont think you ever had the chance to ride it. 185 psi, pump gas motor, nothing special, but reliable. Best B-piped pump gas motor I have ridden.
