I bought a 2003 that from another member last year. I used the guts for my XFT.

I decided to sell my FX-1 and rebuild this.
The hull had quite a few mods done to it when I got it. I basically was just in need of some paint.

Here is what I started with.
Reinforced with Fiberglass
Defoamed
One way valve installed
Tem wide tray
Shortened 3"
Tem carbon hood and nose piece.

I added a bit more reinforcement to the handle pole and dash/bulkhead.

My paint guy shaved the filler and painted it pearl white.

I will be picking up later this week and will have more pictures.
I am still working out the details on the motor but probably going with a JetManiac.

Finished up the turf and installed the tom21 toe-hold extinguisher.
Put on the tem pole I had and the umi steering with 4 degree bars.

Broke the motor in and got some ride pics. I was really surprised how hard this motor rips. Blue and JetManiac did an excellent job. I still am not going WOT these are pics at 3/4 throttle. I think I should be able to roll it easily off my own wake.

I still have a little carb tuning to do and need to try going up to the larger TBM pump cone. Right now I am on the middle size and using a 6r8 nozzle bored to 85mm.

You will also notice that I am running Florida style (No chinpad) ;)
Anyone wanting to take this for a spin is more than welcome. It will be at the Dells ride in June.

Glad you are on the water!! You weren't expecting motor to hit hard? Or just not that hard?
