Like the title says, 2008 Superjet for $7039 Out The Door. I can have it in my gready little hands in less than 24hrs.

Man, now that it's a possibility I'm having second thoughts. What's wrong with me.

What should I do? Do you think I can get a better deal? Should I hold out for a 2009? Should I just suck it up and lay down the $$$$?

Rode a 2008 last Sun. Could not get a feel for the hull due to lack of performance. My thoughts would be if you get the ski you will have to put some $$$$$$$ in it to make you happy. Many for sale with the work already done but would understand if you would like to do the mods yourself and you know that you are starting with a good base kit. Hope this helps

All it needs is a pipe and grate(an extra 700 at most) and it will rip!!!!

Are we there yet?
How much are you gonna ride it? 3 or 4 times a month or 3 or 4 times a week?

Where are you gonna ride it? flat lake or ocean surf?

If you only ride a few times a month on a flat lake, then you may be happy with a stock ski. If you plan on 4 times a week, Then my guess is you'll get bored with it pretty quick and want more! So if you want more then buy a ski already costumized for what you want. Keep in mind that you may have to look farther and drive longer then you wanted too tough. but you could save thousands of dollars in the end!!!!

Or if you have the money for both, by all means GO FOR IT!!!!!!!:highhorse:

Then bring on to Hartwell and lets Ride!

The problem is I already own 3 modded skis, I just don't have any down here yet. I was gonna buy the 08 and build it up or buy a lightweight hull and transfer everything from my freestyle SN.

I was also thinking of reducing my fleet down to just two machines, the 06 SXR and an 08 SJ.

Another good point is that I used to live on a lake and ride tons, Now that I'm a few hours from a decent lake I'm sure my riding will be reduced, primarily why I was going to reduce my fleet.

There's a tiny little reservoir in Barnwell that we can ride on but it's so small anything short of freestyle will become boring in minutes. I wonder if they'd bother me for setting up my bouy course?

Here's an old pic of my skis. The blue one is now White and full freestyle.

I paid $7000 in Oct last year for an 07 - with 6hrs on it. It had a Bpipe/grate/impeller/primer but as Canadians we're limited. You travel all over looking at crap in the U.S. or you buy new or almost new and pay for it. For that price - I'd buy it.:beerchug:

The other thing I'm looking at is the trip home to get my truck and skis. It's gonna cost close to $4000 to fly home get my ski's and make the 5 day 3500 mile drive down pulling a trailer. That's if my truck makes the journey problem free.

Iwas thinking it would be simpler to just buy new stuff here.

For that price can't you just have it shipped? I am sure it would be alot cheaper

Anybody know how much of a hassle it will be to import them into the US and then back to Canada in a few years?
