Super Jet 2008 Superjet - Footholds, Front Strap

So I finally got around to getting the tray just about done.

I didnt take photos of all the stages of the installs. This came out alot better than what I expected. It is the original yamaha mat, just very dirty in the photos, they are new mat (this ski only had a few hours on it before doing this). They are WCF footholds, I am running 8mm underpad and the tray is very very soft. Much more comfortable and forgiving than the hydroturf i've used in the past. Alot of people complain about the traction of the stock mat.. With the underpad it has some compression and greatly improves traction - I have no complaint. I do need to fill inside the footholds, if anyone is planning on turfing their superjet please take off the bottom mat in good condition I will pay for it. Otherwise i'll go to the dealer.

The strap is a Dakine X-Lace Wave, it has some adjustability. I need to put spacers and longer bolts because the underpad is screwing me up. Also need to go pick up some rivets for the stock cap in the back. Last photo you'll see my great pajamas, best work pants ever. Here's some photos..

Cleaned up my mats today. Also found the rear mat to a gp800, new oem on ebay for $21. Should be plenty to do the inside of the footholds. Total tray cost.. $150 including materials. Not bad..

Hey ryan. Yea im not too worried about that, this mat held up on my other skis idk about a stand up but I guess i'll just have to see. If it rips, whatever it didnt cost me a thing and ill go another route. I did disassemble my motor and saw a little bit of the rust on the needle bearings.. It wasn't that bad, but just for peace of mind I sent it out for full rebuild.

Bilge pump is in and polished the engine bay..

its wayyyyy easier to pull the motor with the tank out.

First thing to come out when I work on my ski is the tank. Pulling the battery is more of a pain.

It looks to me like i still c the stock exhaust tube,Imo if your running the stock exhaust i dont think it is necessary to pull the tank..
