2008 yamaha SJ for freestyle ??

last weekend i was riding with some friends , and i rode my friend's 08 with factory pipe , front exhaust , heads ,.. etc (as a freestyle)

it was hard to do barrel's ,. i did the barrel with my stock 06 .

do you guys think that 08 sj can be a freestyler ? and how ?

That is because the stock 08 Steering is complete garbage. Im not sure what Yamaha was smoking when they came up with it. The throw is pitiful.

Havnt heard, but that shouldnt matter much for doing a role. He needs a 07 or older pole, steering cable, and not sure what else.

I just know the 08 steering absolutely BLOWS!

The the hull is the same lenght as previous years. It's about 3" wider in the front and 3" narrower in the rear. The chimes are deeper too. The top deck nothing has changed except the FX-1 pole it now sports.

Read all of what Ross did. He kinda explains using the 07 Steering cable, and steering mod. Tubby 3's sound like the way to go on a 08!
