Here has been my idea for a while now.

6 different freerides in the Southeast for 09.

Area's/lakes to be included

Tim's Ford Lake/Winchester TN (I can organize)
Smith Lake/Cullman AL (I can organize)
Lake Martin/Montgomery AL (Wedoo and I can organize)
Orange Beach (I and whoever can organize)
Nashville (the 615 crew can organize)
what ever lake where ever someone wants to do it (lol)

start in April and end in September

Let me add how freegin easy it was to arrange the ride this past weekend,
I called the local BBQ joint and said hey, bring food Sat and Sun at 11:30.
Called the park adn said hey, we are taking over part of the park for the weekend. Called the po po and said the same. Started the official thread about 2 weeks ago. Showed up, had fun, went home.

It REALLY was that easy!!! It's the riders behaving like adults that made the ride a success and drama free (as far as officials go-lol).

Really the only issue having it here is getting in the park at a time when it is not jam packed and you can actually get in,that and the water level is a big issue here also,I think the marine police will be quite cooperative with us here,there are resturants and hotels in ALEX CITY which is within 5 minutes of the park.The location is beautiful,the water is clean and clear,just a damn cool place to have a ride.

How about Kawicliff taking a spot for a ride in Gadsden?Slip the X2 extravaganza in there also,and I am up for about ten in the series instead of six,that way if you miss one another is just around the corner.

amazing idea. i'd be at all of em no doubt.
idk if anyone remembers the alatoona ride in georgia a few years back but that lake is around full pool again; i dunno how the dnr, etc would respond though.
didnt seem to be any problems last time

this series would be sick

I'll take charge of one here in GA at allatoona! I already know what camp site and stuff i would use! Give me the dates on what weekend you want me to plan mine and will start asap!!!

I will be moving out to Maryville, TN so a Knoxville ride should be included in there too.

Either way, I'm all in there like tall swimwear.
