PS to those ditching the ride to go to races in PCB make sure to take plenty of Dawn dishwashing detergent with you , sounds like you may need it.

i just invented a backpack that gradually disperses the powder as you ride to keep the oil off.

I am back from the scouting trip and I really liked what I saw, the only drawback I saw was a fairly long no wake zone, this place is out in the middle of nowhere, not a house in sight, no one to piss off, nobody to bother.

This is about a five minute drive from the campsite but well worth it IMHO, the roads are marked fairly well and you drive through a really nice neighborhood to get there.

I saw very little boat traffic there today to be concerned with, anyone who does put in there, puts in and leaves.

I have to call about the picnic table area and see whats up with that, if its available we will use it if not we will takeover the square section of dock in the picture below.I will know about that tomorrow.

On a scale of one to ten I give it a solid 8. Here are the pics.I believe its time for a name change, how does Alex City invasion sound?

That is about five minutes from the state park by land or thirty minutes by water lol, I am not sure about the water depth, I will ask my friend with the pontoon boat and depth finder to check it out for me but I believe it is fairly deep there. I called about using the pavilion and there is no charge , first come first serve on that.

Alexander City boat ramp , it is on Stowe Ferry rd, turn off of 280 and follow the brown signs that say boat ramp.
