Thanks Guys! Sunday was killer. The surf was sick. Good 3 footers out of the NE. Unheard of in July!!! There was carnage! 4 skis towed back or (illegally driven across the beach). One ski on the bottom of Lake Erie. Madmat called one Park Officer a "fat f^$%^n piece of s(#t".

The party on Saturday night was killer.
Gotta give props to the Monkey. The dude did alot for this ride and hooked up alot of riders....Nice work, bro.

Will was throwin huge rolls on my ski and on Madmat's. Nice Rippin...

I wish I could have made it up this time, and I am glad to read everyone had fun. Was happy to see a few pics posted already, so hopefully more will be posted soon. Def excited to see what you do for a video of course, and I am sure all else feel the same.

I thought about her quite a few times prior to the meet, and I had meant to post up tell her I was sorry I didn't get to come up, for I really wished to ride with her. She was much fun last time I was there, and I noticed she was very helpful to you, so I liked her very much for it all.

Man that was pure chaos for such a small/medium wave day. Countless clogs.....1 ski sank to the bottom.....

I went back to the ramps with Zack way late to water test his ski and some dude said he was on the beach broken down for hours and no one was around...lol....he got towed in by some couch.

Yep, that was me. I was leaving for the launch with the last group of standups around 3 or 4pm and had to circle back to grab my water bottle on the beach. On my way back, I stalled and couldn't restart. I don't know if my battery crapped out or if my stator isn't working. Either way, I couldn't start it.

I found a couple couches, asked them for a tow. They said "sure, when the water dies down". Well that wasn't going to happen, so I talked to some other couchers. They said, "sure!" so I walked back to my ski and they took off. At that point, it was like 6:30 and only one other couch in sight. If I had to walk back to my car to call my friend to tow me, it would probably be past dark. I walked over to the PR group to ask for a tow, they literally had to get someone to translate for me. They agreed (for $), but they didn't have a rope (I let a couch borrow mine at the dock earlier in the day, never returned). Luckily I found some shoe-string quality rope on the beach. Looped it 4 times between us and took off. He didn't understand the concept of "Jesus christ, please slow down!!!" (yes, I was nice and appreciative and gave him some $). But about 5 rope breaks later and some very tired arms, we made it! Got to the ramp about 7-730. I let the ski charge up 5min on my car and it started fine. Sigh.

I heard someone drove their jeep over on the beach to pick up some skis. I wonder if my awd would have made it lol.

All skis recovered.

Sorry Sharkcus! That sucks ass....yes you could have drove down the path with your car, but getting your ski up to the path would not have been easy (and you may have gotten a ticket). Sorry this happened. On wave days, we always travel in groups and make sure everyone makes it back. Its too dangerous if someone breaks down by the rocks.

Sorry the couchers were so lame....Don't let this stop you riding with us. We'll always tow someone back.

Also A big thanks to the FIREMEDICMONKEY .. with lots of effort assisting to make the ride happen and the flatwater saturday boat wakes !!! Its a GOOD thing for everybody that the DNR guy backed down from his ''superior than thou attitude '' only after Matt set him straight of course . LOL ,That would-o- been ugly !......The ski recovery took place at the largest wave period we had ,i believe it never really sank but was butt up just at the surface and towed back with the rope attached to the grate ,not a textbook salvage but conditions were very rough with no towloop .
