Hey all:
Like many others ive got a Rok and going to finish putting it all together.
I'd said finish putting it all together because Brian @ 615FreeRide actaully did all the building on this boat. He purchased the halfs from Jeff and did everything else. (glued it up, ran water lines, foamed, footholds, bow eye, etc) For anyone interested in having someone else build a ski up i would hands down recommend Brian to do the job. I've have never had better customer service buying any product (ski related or not) then working with Brian. He customized it to what i wanted let me know his thoughts and concerns and worked through them. I was consistently getting emails, phone calls, text, pictures showing me the progress and having good communication on the entire build. Brian you kick a$$. seriously i cant say enough good things about my "buying experience" Anyway ill move on before they move this thread to the feedback section.
as you can see in the picture this is where i took over.
POWER -i dont have a clue what engine i will be dropping into this yet. i was planning on dropping my 701 in it for a little but after the last ride on it and blowing a piston, bending the crank, goughing the case its going to motivate me to go bigger off the start. Looking for a 865-900 range so that i can have a little surf action with some flatwater.
POLE - RRP
STEERING - in the market
LOOK - vinyl custom graphic to match my other skis.
nothing else has been decided.
Any thoughts love or hate send them over. most of you will know better then i as to what direction i go.
