SXR 2011 the sxr hull selling price

Hey everyone!

I've been meaning to sell my sxr hull for a while now. But I've been getting mixed opinions on how much it is worth. It's in great shape, only ridden one year . what do you guys figure?

It's an OEM hull, kind of a tough market - especially for SXR's. What all are you including? Hull and hood only? Hull, hood, pole?
I think it would be exceptional if you got more than $1,500 USD out of it.

Hull and hood only. Yeah I was thinking around 1500 would be the right price for it.

the last 2 i sold, i got $2000 each. looking back, i wish i never sold them period. worth more money as a complete running stock boat. at least $4000 if its clean and running or $4500. the rest of the parts without the hull aint worth $2000- $2500. only part cosmetically ugly boats out. and you are in canada, stuff is worth way more up there.

That's interesting. I didn't think they were worth that much. I did a changeover from a kawi to a bob so I'll only be selling the hull and other non engine components.

In my area in Tampa, everyone wants $4-6k for a complete ski. They want that much for the 2004. Can't buy them, so people are paying lots of money for them. I am sure if you were willing to wait, $1500-2000 wouldn't be out of the question. I wouldn't pay that personally, but plenty of people around me would, and that explains why I don't have one.

Go to PWCToday and post in the racing section.... A racer would be interested in a clean hull.

Yeah, there is always someone that wants to put all their 750SX, SX, SXI Pro stuff in a SXR hull too. Also, racers crash and total hulls, and some racers like to have a spare hull around or build a second ski. There is a good demand and price for a bare SXR hull IMO.

Definately market it to the racer crowd. The hull is valuable to them, they are doing the same thing you did to build your BOB, its just they are doing it for a race ski. SXR hull for $2500 then drop in a 1100 out of a donor couch for another $1500 and you have a solid race boat

Hmmm I know of several locally that Are finished and ridden every weekend
