Just putting a pheeler out there. I know the event is still months away and I haven't seen a 2012 blowsion forum open up yet but I figured I would ask anyway...

I live on the east coast and I'm planning on a vacation to Portland to visit some friends in September and we will be attending the blowsion surf slam. Would anyone out there be willing to loan me one of their old SNs to ride for a few hours in the surf out there? I am totally stoked just to be going to the event but being able to ride for a little would make it just that much more awesome!! I can pack everything I need to ride with me (helmet, gloves, wetsuit, vest, etc).

I would pay for any gas, event fees, and bring you a case of your favorite beer!

i want to go so badly this year i always take jet ski hoidays but my wife will kill me i promised her some vacation to some hot spot like cuba or something like that how can i convince her to go to surf slam, we are not going to this years world finals, how is the wheather at that time of year

You never know for sure on the weather, but its usually the best time of year. Last year we had one really nice day, but as I recall sat and sunday were a bit chilly with the breeze, surf was stomping tho...

I hear ya. I had to take my wife back home to Scotland this past christmas and then get ready for Daytona literally next weekend. I love travelling but it can wear you out. I was able to convince her on this trip because we get to see old friends. throw in a perk for her an make ur way out there!

my wife said book it and we can go but i have to make all the arragements and pay for it, no problem ac season is coming and if edens moon wins the kentucky oaks tomorrow friday may 4th i future booked the horse at 60 to one last jan, will be buying tickets this weekend

OMG, don't kill me! Who would like to place waggers that we ARE not there....seeing as I am the one that looks after all this. Bit of a post whore today but, there was no way that I was not going to respond to this one. You are soooo cute....still freaking laughing over here. I will make you a deal seeing as I would like to go and its my birthday weekend. You safe the funds and I will do the booking and such. YOu have to pack your own luggage though and one pair of underwear is not ENOUGH!!! LOL

Look at it way you owe her a nice vacation, well southern california is still great weather and warm in september. Take her to SoCal....... Surf slam is on the way down. You cant help where your car brakes down and you get stuck.
