And to address one post, there will be no grandfathering of any 2 strokes in the areas that I spoke of. We tried that and got denied.

And they ARE being banned on a National Level! Its called the EPA Marine Engine Ruling. Its the beginning of the end.

I own nothing but 2-strokes besides my truck. Up here in Alaska we get away with alot, we stay quiet and don't advertise, but for the most part we get away from people and do what we want. I can't imagine the day this beautiful land is swarmed by EPA and conservationists wanting to stop me from riding my jetskis, snowmobiles, dirtbikes.... that day will be as big as the day they try and take my guns..... X2Pilot is sooo right in the respect that we as jetskiers need to be seen at the possitive influential people we are, not at punks and nuisanses. Be respectful and responsible so we can keep on rippin'!!!!!! Not sure how many are with me, but ill grab my shotty and clean some house when they try and shut us down completely. It is a lifestyle, not a hobby! It is eating, sleeping, dreaming, being a jetskier, I don't know why I'd be around without it.

banning 2 strokes seems like a waste of time considering the BP oil spill going on...

My friend that is an understatement! At one point the estimate from BP themselves was 1,000,000 gallons of oil flowing out of the wellhead EVERY DAY! And the leak has been going on for 60 days? Lets just say that its only 500,000 gallons a day, that is still 30 million gallons of oil!! There is no way in hell that every single 2 stroke ever built put together has released even a fraction of that! The ban on 2 strokes is a joke, but its a joke on us!! We all sit here and b*tch about it but WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHT TO RIDE?? (not directed at you wavedemon) How important is it to YOU that you get to continue to ride?? What are you going to do about it? Stop thinking and start acting because if you wait until they ban your ride spot ITS TOO F-U-C-KING LATE!!!

^^ Move to Canada!.... but Its colder here lol. Serious bummer though. IF 2010 is the last year of the SJ (as stated above we are :):):):) ed) Over time RN hulls will be lost or damaged so badly they are garbage. Over time, they will disapear.

On the bright side though, maybe we will see someone try to flip a hydrospace haha.

Really? Your forgetting about the OBAMA administration currently running the show, and his followers. I agree with you but while this guy is the Pres, anything can happen.

VOTE THEM OUT!
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the federal government of the United States charged with protecting human health and the environment, by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. The EPA was proposed by President Richard Nixon and began operation on December 2, 1970, after Nixon submitted a reorganization plan to Congress and it was ratified by committee hearings in the House and Senate.[2] The agency is led by its Administrator, who is appointed by the president and approved by Congress. The current administrator is Lisa P. Jackson. The EPA is not a Cabinet department, but the administrator is normally given cabinet rank. The agency has approximately 18,000 full-time employees
