Thinking about selling my hull. 2014 Carbon DVX built by Stoyer $8500. Comes with Hull, hood, pole, chin pad, intake grate, ride plate. This ski flys and was a insane boost to my progression this year, but looking to get into something a little more stable for my fat ass. Ski was ordered RTR direct from Xscream after Ant won WF. Guy rode it about 20 hours and then it sat in a garage till i bought it this year. I put about 400 gallons through it since February and it shows. Ski looks amazing from 15' away, but lots of minor cosmetic stuff up close.
Not a motivated seller, as I do love the hull, and its still capable of way more than I am currently doing. Just hoping to cheat a bit on my combo progression with a wider hull. Open to trades depending on what you got.
The Bad:
-Even after being on a scissor stand 99% of the time it got Beach Rash, not impressed with the paint on the bottom of these things.
-Paint chips and dings in various places, some of the stickers have started to peel off, mostly on the bottom deck. If i keep the ski it most likely will get wrapped, or at least paint the bottom deck.
-Minor stress cracks in the paint in a few places on the hood and around pole. First owner dropped it on its back corner of the rail first day he got it and chipped the corner off. He fixed it and he held up ever since.
-I poked the nose in the sand at body beach 2nd or 3rd week i had it, scrapped one spot down to the carbon in the nose, sealed with epoxy and got back to riding.
The Good:
-Looks amazing from 15' away
-No structural issues on the hull
-New pole bracket and uprights/bushings
-It's a bullet proof Stoyer DVX
Here's some pics of her in her glory, will get more current pics up in next few days and can take more pics and videos on request.
Lots of videos of it in action on my IG: @flippinfatguy
