Another successful FreestyleFest. It was an absolutely perfect day and got to meet more new riders this year.

I want to tank everyone for coming out and supporting this ride. Over the years it had received some bad publicity, due to a small group of riders that no longer participate in this ride/sport anymore. Everyone had a great time and was safe and considerate of other riders and boaters.

I was really impressed with how everyone stuck together to make sure no one got left behind or stranded coming back in from the sandbar.

Of course a special thanks to Jim for running back to the launch to get his sit down ski so that he could a number of riders who had mechanical issues with their skis.

Looking forward to another great ride in 2014!!!

It was a good time for sure. I wish i had made it out there earlier in the day. The weather was perfect for it. It was nice to see everyone looking out for each other and i am just glad my sitdown had gas in it. lol I don't recommend towing by the rear end of a sunken ski though, that thing was like an anchor. lol But you have to grab whats available to hook on to i guess.

Special thanks to the Jetmate, for making the extra trips to haul gas and stands! I might ride there a time or two more this year when it starts to cool off, and the regular waterholes get cold.

Yes of course...we can't thank Luke enough for transporting fuel, stands, and coolers between the launch and the sandbar in the jetmate. That is 2 years in a row now that Luke has come through as one of the main people that contribute to the success of this event.

you are the reason
That hot hole sounds like a wet dream gone bad. No gas, no tools. 1.5 miles away. No wake zones and sea weed traps and rocks. Sounds like some good ole boys will do anything to get together.

Not exactly, really the only no wake is by the launch, we had gas, stands, and I carried a backpack with tools and beer. No one had a problem with sea weed or rocks....

It was a little warm this year, but the hot hole is an awesome spot for late season rides, when the rest of the water is too cold! In 2011 we went to the hole and it was low 40's tops.

Yep, the hot hole ride was a great time like always. Thanks to Luke for transporting our cooler out to the spot and his buddy can't remember his name(sorry) for filling my ski up with gas after Luke ran it dry riding it so long lol J/K, glad you guys like the ski and had fun on it. We would definitely be up for another ride out there once it cools off if someone wants to put it together.

Good times as always!

The hot hole is a great riding spot, no doubt about it. I'm sure I'll be back out sometime this year.

Thanks for the Demo on the ROC Draggingto, I'm a fan for sure, no problem on the Fuel, it was better then hauling a half full jug back!

Sorry I missed everyone this year, I was in the parking lot from 12-4 working on my POS. If I can rustle up a new ignition soon I would be down for another ride.

I'm down for a Sunday ride. I work every Saturday so it makes it a little tough for me to get out of work. Plus it will force me to actually take the SN out of the water and start the tear down process so it will be ready for next season.
