To all that attended the ride last year I greatly appreciate it. We successfully raised of $10,000. And in good fun we will be doing this again in 2013

Still working on dates for this year but it will be September

What would you change about the event and what would you keep the same

Be honest

And GOoooo

10k that is great for the first year.

Great time don't make to many changes.

I think Bruce would be thankful if the trash can's were removed from the beach prior to him running them all over ha.

I would like the surfboards in the raffle to be a pair so I have one for each foot like you said..

I think the only thing that I can say constructive is make sure that there is not a beach clean up in the same parking lot. Even though it was not that big of a pain.

Also I thought you did a great job of announcing for the contests.

It was a really relaxed good time!

I dont know why you bother even having this crappy freeride again, its not like anyone had any fun....

In all seriousness though, many know i was not 100% on board (fearing for my beloved ride spot) in the early stages of the planning last year. But i came around to the idea and had a blast. Not much room for improvement lets just keep it as strong as it was. The only thing i have heard some people b!tch about is the parking/driving on the beach issue. Alot of people (actually not me) felt if they couldnt stay on the beach for the day they shouldnt be charged for the beach pass. Hopefully mark will be able to convince the city of BB that we really do no harm staying on the beach for the day....

Agreed, the un-loading/loading and moving the vehicles off the beach was the only negative I can see.

The location was great, that bar was great, we rented a nice house and had a great time!! Only thing I'd like to change is the hardness of the bottom. I'm going to work on not hitting it anymore though. We will be there again this year!!

Let us know about quads on the beach too. That could be an alternative to dragging the skis down from the street if they are allowed by the town.

Beach parking is nice if you can get there. Our enclosed wasnt going to make it out there. On that note, maybe a few more guys helping get skis to the water would be good kinda like the junkies do at wavedaze.

Either way the NY crew will be back we had a great time, rented a house and lived it up for a weekend.

For a first time ride it was well put together and ran very smooth!

Mark as the industry is talking this is going to be the ride to attend. You will be twice as big this year. Only improvements would be as you already know. And if that bar outside is rebuilt before then. :)

Thank you. Yes the bar is currently under complete re-build and will be bigger and better than last year. They are adding 25ft to the width of the deck. There also will be a minimum of 4 quads this year. As far as the fueling station I will do my best to try and move it

it was my first freeride, had a great time.

Fueling was an issue(I didnt want to bother the guy on the quad, he was working pretty hard). Maybe you could use something like this to make a temp. beach cart road to the fueling area. This is just an idea, I have no idea of the costs of this stuff or if it would really be practical. http://www.prestogeo.com/portable_mat_systems

The ride zone got crowded pretty good. Is it possible to get a little extra space especially since I would imagine there could be more riders this year?
