Thanks to Patch Motors, Mahem Motorsports, and Taylor Curtis the pump shoe is in and lines up perfectly. Taylors instructions on his site rock. A few little tricks from the pros and i'm good to go. Plexus sets up fast and clean, used a little 5200 to make it seal perfectly and look good. Thanks again Taylor for making it easy. shop.tcfreeride.com

New year new choices. Off to the anodizer in the AM. Better make up my mind fast on a color.
Some parts will be black to stay with the White, Black and some other color theme.

One more thing i noticed about the Evo no one has mentioned, the footholds are now different than my last Rickter ones. They seem like they may be better, I know I going to have to returf the tray, but no time before daytona.

A few more things done thanks to the new press and the awesome installation advise and squaring the firewall. Thanks again Taylor. Some RTV to seal up the Mag nicely and keep the salt from the Stainless and Aluminum. New pump seal, as always. I marked for the shims on the firewall with paint so next time there wont be any question. Similar to the way Yamaha did at the factory. :) Shimmed the pump at the rear to get the shaft straight and true.

Just got the call on the anodized parts. Im going to lose the entire weekend, they wont be done today. :( I really need to catch a break for parts next week if this is going to be done properly. I did just gain two full days on the truck though as its now leaving Sat night.

Nice built Brian! hope I can give it a try this summer :)

C75 9-17 in a 144mm pump with a 1000cc is not a bit low ?

What about pipe ? what are you dropping in that baby ?

Agreed, but it will have a B-pipe and its the same package that was in my black ski you rode last year. Hoping it will be perfect for my style of surf riding, i hit the throttle late, so i really like the snap but on the new ski i wont know. Bringing a 14/19 with me just in case

Figured i'd let you know my color choice as its getting close. This was my motivation one night listening to the stereo.

I decided to do the front foothold as I really dont like riding a surf ski without having some sort of foot hold or strap. I think it gives more control when your feet are in surf stance. I really like the Pancake design and still feel its the best one around. Decided to fill it with styrofoam for added bouancy for the ski. Billet motors are heavy so ill take it any place i can get it. This is a trial fit as I need to install the motor before final installation. I normally put the ebox bracket to the back of the bolt on foothold, but am not sure if it will work for the Rickter.

Next up is the pole pad, I like them a little higher for the surf than the stock height of the Rickters and I couldnt have the red, so I shaved the top off, added some underpadding, cut back the sides the distance of the multi color turf and glued them together. Final touch was the vinyl paint/dye for the blue K

I did a bunch of test on my bob when i dropped a 1000cc in it, but with PFP. Start at 10-16, was spooling cut off all day long, 11-17 was a bit better and i finnally went with the 13-18, at my taste it was perfect. We also tried a 16-23 and it was a wayyyyy over pitch...lolll

BTW nice turfing job on the pole shock pad :)

Thanks.

Got a bit more done tonight, left work early to get a good night in, threw the alternator belt on the way to the anodizer. My luck. Changed belt and found shot water pump.

Just finished installing the Billet RRP pole and cables. Hopefully tomorrow more parts arrive. Waiting on water box and more anodized parts. Im again out of things to do.
