looks great. they make a real e box exactly like that for real electrical items. I have a bunch at work. They arent cheap but you can order different levels of protection such as water spray, submersion, etc

So I was able to ride my ski last Sunday for a test ride and it was a very fun ski to ride. I WOT it for a good 10 seconds a couple times and the ski tracks great and does not feel tipsy at speed. Ski is also very loose when you want it to be so it should be a great surf ski. Aaaaaannddd I must say as far as my e-box went, it was a failure and a success at the same time. My box that I have been using for a year held up just fine but my bracket that I made that attached to the girdle botls snapped. Only one of the ears broke off and after inspecting it the metal had flaws in it when it was produced. Where it cracked off the head it was rusty inside the metal so im sure thats why it failed at that point. Anyways, monday night I took it back apart, pulled out the rear tank, and mounted the e box in stock location. I am still going to mess with alternative placement but for right now with my motor set-up I don't need the rear gas tank.

Took the ski in to the DMV this morning, registered until 2015 as a Rickter Evo 1 :) Now its time for Pismo...
