Ive heard the kickers are very uncomfortable although i have never tried them. I went with the tom 21 footholds that accept 25mm pad on the top and bottom. I think ill like these because ill be able to shape the foam how i want it. I did have to modify them a little to get them to fit properly due to the fact that they were hitting the exhaust pipe and the gap where you rivet or screw them down was huge. Other than that they were built well. Theyre going in a 2010 sj. Other than that this ski is gunna be sick.

Hell NO IMO!

I would have left the stock reeds alone for a long time too....just my opinion...and you asked!

Hi Madmat.. yes I believe the stock reeds are very good. I ride MX Bikes as well and one of the first things I do is install V-Force Reeds 3 on the YZ 250 just to clean out the bottom end and make it hit harder. Any reason why you would leave the stock reeds in. I have not installed them so I can change my mind. Let me know what's behind your reason for using the stock reeds.

I'll be doing the upgrades one at at time: So Carb Adapters / Pre-Filters / Flame Arrestors first. After each upgrade I'll be taking her out for testing and I'll keep records of performance increases..hesitations and or bogging etc. I'm hoping to build up a reference sheet that's I'll post on the forum.

:):):):), done and dusted. The kickers are being manufactered by blowsion as we speak. Taking the Blowsion mat kit as well with the kickers. Any idea why the Kickers are uncomfortable or is it purely just a padding propblem or issue with the design/shape

Just wanna tickle some grey matter here. (riding at sea level)

1. The Flame arrestors / Pre filters should lean the fuel mixture out
2. V-Force 2 Reeds / Should make the fuel mixture richer. (So those two should more or less balance each other out

Wish we could poll here!!!

kickers are fine....footholds are all about personal preference, just the same way as some guys like to :):):):) fat chicks

you are overthinking the reeds and prefilters........just leave all that stuff stock and save your $$$

Thrust Innovations for ALL of your needs..the other companies will kill you with shipping costs

My reason for running stock reeds is you will not feel a noticeable difference (actually zero IMO!) for the money $spent....let alone wrenching for no reason. (not my thing!!)

Anything other than stock flame arrestors at least 2 downsides IMO: 1 they fall apart 2 they let water in 3 the pre-wraps need replaced. (and they still let water in!)

Stock is bomb proof and very very very good at keeping water out.

Just my opinion but if I ever get a brand new superjet :love:I will do what I know works for me:

13/16-3mm solas, 85mm exit nozzle, MSD Enhancer, B pipe, shorten the pole and add kick ass steering, beat it to death!

Or some other variation (depending on if I was riding flat or waves) of thrust and handling.

^x2...stick with the stock flame arrestors...I just changed to 44mm carbs and am going to use the stock F/A that came with them.. spend your money on good mods like a B pipe and hooker prop..

Upgrading the stock steering should be the first thing to do. Like, don't even ride it until you replace the cable with a 96-07 one or a schmity1 cable. Steers like a container ship stock.
