Me too...hope Saturday is the big day as I imagine a lot of people leave Sun to get back to work on Mon.

i know ive seen guys on my car forum say e85 is few n far between in florida....

but what about race gas? i need 100 octane at the minimum for my ski... n i refuse to use octane boosters

Yep, the host hotel is filled.
Want to stay somewhere close by and at beach. Found a nice place but it's 8 miles away...

Next door I found "La Playa Resort" -- has very questionable reviews.

Wonder if anyone has stayed there?

I stayed there last year, It is a dump, but it is right next door to the Grand Seas and it offer's ocean front rooms with balcony's. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train. I saw somewhere they were starting to renovate rooms this fall

Select Sunoco gas stations sell race gas all over Florida. I'm sure you can find it especially somewhere near the race track.

Last time I attended was 2007 so I can't wait to attend. I hope to make it as long as I don't have military duty that weekend. Hope to have the SN turfed by then. If not I'll bring the X2.

No need to be 8 miles away. There are hotels the whole stretch of beach. Odds of being parked I front of the host hotel are very low.
We party till 5 am and then I get in line at 6am to park on the beach.... It sucks but if you want a front row spot you do what you got to do.

I changed things around and will be there Friday afternoon-Sunday afternoon, much nicer!

I talked to reservations today and she said they still have rooms available, just not ocean-front. Get one while you can!

SWEET! ...will that be a new 1200 with the same ports as the 900 you ran at wf or the previous 1200 ports? If ya don't mind me asking... I didn't know if X Scream had made a 1200 yet with the changes that your 900 had in regards to the porting....
