To enjoy riding and enjoy life every day . Whatever happens in between is just a bonus or a lesson learned

Short story: Scrubbed the first double in a double/double/table top rythem section a 450 and drug the pegs on the face, dismounted my feet, landed still in control but feet where off center and must have tapped the shifter, went to scrub the next double and the bike was in nuetral, bounced off the rev limiter and into the face of the landing i went... face first.

If you tapped the shift lever into neutral, WHY THE FU%$ WERE YOU IN SECOND GEAR ON A 450 IN THAT SECTION???????

Sorry to hear about your mishap, but it sounds like you need to carry more speed through there.

edit: I have no clue what track it was or what the conditions were.

Most guys wanna ride better, I just wanna ride. My big focus this year is getting my family relocated to Savannah so we are 2hrs closer to all our favorite ride spots. Looking forward to shaving 4 1/2 hours off every ride day.

All I want for 2014 is to keep being able to ride multiple times a week and keep being able to ride more aggressivly to push myself and my boat to our limits. I try to push myself as hard as I can with every trip to the ramps. I'll never take for granted how fortunate I am to have the means to do this. There is nothing else like riding.

I finally got back into stand ups. 012SJ & AM ski for the mrs and myself. few tanks so far. AM hull on the way. Then just ride every other day this month through April. Then temps out here skyrocket and the surf dies.

Ski mods planned for '14

Ltd. B Pipe, Bilge, Possibly a Head.

Landed my first stab at the very end of last season... goal this year is to get them down, learn to fountain & other surface/hood tricks... maybe start practicing rolls.

Need to reinforce for that though..

AND most importantly.... not end up in the hospital.

Hope all of you achieve what you want while staying safe. AND I hope to capture and put an image of some of you into a magazine like we did with E rok in Watercraft Performance and Chris Anyzeski in ProRider Dec. Issue

Just found out that a November image I submitted of a local skilled kiter performing won a contest in The Kiteboarder magazine Winter issue so I am pretty stoked about that.

Hope to see you on the waves in Canada (southern Ontario ) and capture and show you at your best to the magazines in 2014. Keep me in the loop .

Have a great season in 2014!

Right out of a 90 degree turn. I swept outside in and was jumping the first one at a angle.

2013 was my first season of riding.. I learned everything myself and from watching videos, there weren't really any other rides around me. Was able to ride at least 4+ hours for like 10-12 weeks, and besides the riding basics, I eventually was getting nose stabs down pretty well, and was starting to attempt some rolls. Except I gave up when I couldn't stay in my footholds..Also blew up my crank this year so I gotta rebuild my engine too.

Winter of 2014 for starters-
I already reinforced the rear gunwales, gotta install cooling tubes and trim tube, install drainplugs, and sheet foam, and build a tray with new tom 21 footholds, and I might build my own removable enclosures. Then reinforce the engine compartment+ pole bracket area, and all that fun stuff! This is all on a 95 square 701 with a b pipe.

Spring/summer of 2014- I at least am going to learn rolls, and I hope to get out to some nasty michigan surf and try out a backie. Who knows if that'll happen, but of course I can dream!

For mods, I think the next and hopefully last thing I buy is one of TNT's new chambers he is coming out with this spring. As far as skills, I just want to fall less.

2013 was less than epic as far as waves are concerned here in northeast Florida. Rode plenty. But no great storm waves.
It was the end of a multi year beating of my ski without really doing anything to it.

2014: The ski is currently under total rehab. Nothing fancy. Bore, port, glass, paint, hardware etc...
It will still be a superjet, but that's all I need.
I don't sweat tricks anymore. If the waves are right, then I might try something new, but so much has happened in the last decade that nothing I do will be impressive to anyone but me.
I hope for storms that turn north just inside Bermuda. Close enough to create awesome ground swell and close enough to pull wind from the west. Far enough away to have sunny days and no damage to the house.

On the bubble this year, didn't ride much due to havin a kid last year then hurt my back riding and lost another two months of riding from that , so I'm at the crossroads of selling ski and moving on or keeping it and trying to ride more this year. Either way I hope to ride more this year whether it is on my ski or my bicycle. Also hope to not spend any more money on the ski other than oil and fuel

If I think big I'd say one footed/one handed backflips and no handed barrel rolls but in all honestly I'd rather just keep shredding surf and escalate my surf riding and see how high I can get on re-entries. More importantly not get hurt.

Spent most of 2013 collecting parts and building my Backie Chan. Didnt get as much time on it as I wanted...

2014 get carbs tuned better, and of course land flat water flip!

My ski goals are simple, first and foremost MORE RIDE TIME. I have also decided my skill level will never warrant the 1100cc powered carbon hulls. So I have downsized to a 900cc carbon hull set up, entirely new drive train in a used carbon KDX hull. So my plan is do more with less. Still a super sweet setup but not the BB monster motor. The AM guys at WF this year proved to me that the 900cc setups can do all I will ever be capable of.
Other goals would bore you as they are work and personal related LOL.
