Im not carving anything in stone but I had to jumpstart this thread as its been dead in the water. Id like to hear from the Colorado guys. If not, Ill call them over the weekend.

@cammokid43 - I don't know if I speak for all of us here in Amsterdam, errrrrrr Colorado, but I'm good with either the first or second weekend listed. Don't want the 21-23rd date. As you well know, driving/weather conditions can go to poop in a hurry the later in the year that we go... That is my biggest worry.

I vote we go to Amsterdam and ride surf with our minds... But if not, Im staying flexible. Of course it would be sick to have everyone out there shredding, but we need time to fanagle stuff with jobs and those dependent upon us.

None of this really maters to me. I'm one of the lucky ones that only lives minutes from Pismo. I would just like to see everyone get together still.

The way things are going I for see this being a mess....

Zack isn't afraid to go during huck fest witch we all know it will be a disaster although it will be cool at the same time to get growth to our spot...

And everyone else either wants to go the weekend Zack is getting married and like he said a lot of big names won't be able to make it and not really anyone is stepping in and helping make a group decision that works for everyone

In no way am I trying to be a d!ck, but this sport isn't all about big names. . . It would be a real bummer if many of them didn't make it, but sometimes that's how life is. One of my buddies is waiting on his school schedule to see if he can make it, it can be hit or miss wether your are a big name, or a no name.

As far as huckfest goes won't we have other things to worry about other than beach entrance fees? How are the accommodations? I know Cuong usually has a hotel sorted out, but I can imagine that huckfest fills up many hotels.

I'm just trying to see things from a different view. I already have a truck full of 5 people and 5 skis ready to go any weekend.

The Huck fest weekend is a mess. All the hotels will be booked,and will be very expensive. Like Murph said. Why don't the big names step up to make a decision so that us no name can come watch. We have to make a decision soon for riders that are coming out of state. And if we happen to choose the second weekend, we have to reserve spots on the beach soon because it's a three day weekend.

How is Oct 24-26? Is there something else going on nobody is aware of? I go to WaveRave in Michigan every year and theres nothing but no name riders there. Amazingly, everybody still has a great time despite the lack of big names. Crazy.
