On my 2014 I did the schmity mod, rrp steering system with cable on the outside of the steering arm on the stock pole and thrust ez flow pro trim system with the cable on the inside hole of the nozzle and it has an insane amount of steering from what it was.

I recently installed the Overall OVP steering. I haven't had much of a chance to try it out. I gashed my leg open pretty good the weekend before last at the coast on my first ride.

Yeah I had the same problem. If your going to shorten it just go 4", install riser bars and roll them back. That way if you decide in the future you want to go a little shorter you can rotate the bars straight up and down

It is. I'm about to cut the chin pad a little shorter and roll some padding over the end of it. I don't like how far it sticks out past the bars

Yea I am 6'3" and have the stock pole and it always bashing me in the leg so I want to take at least 2 inches off of mine.
I'm 6' also cut mine 4" with cf plate so i got rid of about 5.5" total.. And run 0 degree bars... At first it seemed like too much.. Then I got used to it, now I can't ride with a factory length pole...

It's a Toby carbon chinpad. I had to trim it down to fit the overall ovp steering and my riser bars
