I would usually spray my ski down with wd40 3 times a day while at the coast

silicone works well and wont soften up the rubber parts like motor mounts and couplers. Leaves a film that protects everything.
Dude don't stress it its 3 days WD40 is fine
Before you come down prep you ski good or you will be chasing gremlins
pack some dielectric grease in all your connections and spray your eng compartment down with some form of silicone type spray.......I love fluid film, best stuff around.....but it ain't cheap. I guess I need to start taking orders for shirts this weekend.
I have never been to surf, so i wanted know what you veterans use to help protect from salt cancer. I am also kinda anal about my toys lol. I keep my stuff pretty mint, so gremlins shouldn't be a problem.
Where can you buy salt away at?

damn, I really had no idea what kind of damage riding in salt water could cause. I'll be taking more precaution from now on before the next time I go out in the surf. Last year I went out there probably a dozen times and I only flushed it once when I put it up for the winter. I ride about 10-15 miles down the colorado river to get to the beach and then back up the river to get home.... maybe that was enough of a fresh water flush to save me. I definitely don't get as crazy as yall do out in the surf either, I'm sure if I was tryin to get upside down I'd get a lot more salt under the hood. But damn.... I mean, I knew it was corrosive but I didn't know you needed to coat your engine in lube beforehand.
Is camping a viable option for this beach? I've never been. I might throw a air mattress in my truck, but i'll still be on the hunt for fresh water to rinse off with....
