2014 superjet blowsion hd steering cable

Hi guys ! I just bought a 14 superjet and I'm installing blowsion steering and the hd steering cable I ran into a problem with the pole side end of the cable being too long . Just seeing if anyone has had this problem , and how it can be fixed

I have cut a few threads off a few new cables to fix this pole side.

I have no experience with that particular cable though.

I am sure someone else will chime in, but that cable is for 96-07. To use on the newer one you have to install a different cable holder. That cable is prefered though because it has more throw than stock On 08+

Your right. I just talked to blowsion and they don't make a different cable holder . Any idea on who makes one that will fit if possible

If you find I think his SN is Schmity on here he sells a billet block that makes the post 08 poles hold the cable like a pre 08 pole. Search things like 08 pole problems or things like that.

Had the same sort of problem on my SN... Made my own L bracket out of some scrap SS and ground out the old cable holder. Bolted it down using one of the existing rivet holes. Just an idea if you want to head down that road.

That is pretty much what the Schmitty one does. It is a billet block that holds the cable and you bolt it down in the pole like that one.
