LOL not me, I need my ski to be right if Ima ride it... Esoecially if im trying to get the hang of this sport.

Pfft superjet purists. Who wants to ride a stock ski? Not me!!
The steering issue is separate of the sponsons/tubbies. Yamaha changed a few things around on 08+ models and I guess the turning radius changed. Less sensitive for fast racing?
Id rather have the 08+ bottom deck than my 96. You're has some sexy curves on its bottom.
Ride a few skis with them. I couldn't really feel an instant difference that made me say hey, I def need a set of these.

Yes I was thinking before I make the jump and buy them to try them out and see whats the difference.

I want to try this ski as well once we get it all dialed in. Only 08-up hull I've ever ridden was a wamiltons hull that was -2 and lighter than stock. So not a true feel for a stock boat.
And boy is it nice to work on a brand new ski. No hack jobs have had their grubby paws in it like most of the skis I see.

If you are use to the 08+ hull then you already know all the little things that feel weird compared to riding the old hull, after you put the tubbies on I think it just takes all the good traits of the new hull and lets you just go crazy and ride it as hard as you want. I ride my buds 2010 and after 10min its like give me my ski back this thing sucks! Both skis are set up the same all but the tubbies

@BruceSki come on you know you will be able to try the ski lol, and working on anything new is always better. @fatboyktm this is actually my first superjet that i ride or own so i wouldnt honestly know the difference. Im just trying to setup mine to be nice off of what people say and from my friends that know from experience. So far @BruceSki know his sh#t lol and what ever he questions he does his research in finding out. So im doing pretty well having him on my side is a pretty big help!
