2014 TigerCraft Aquabot V2

I thought about modifying my Foot Rocket like that so I could move the foot holds further aft, but since riding it, I found I wanted them more forward, actually....
Nice looking ski though! Enjoy!

I like the forward placement of the holds also, I just wanted more freedom behind the holds. I know what you're saying for your application though with the adjustables

Awesome build, looks awesome man! I like what you did with the foot holds, I may end up doing the same on mine. You will enjoy it!

Do you want exposed length of pole tubes? No pole spring yet but I plan on running an OEM spring when I get my new pole for a little assistance but nothing crazy.

I slightly considered rounding it off a little but the theme of the hull has sharp angles and I didn't want a ton of glass work. I was very close to putting under padding along the whole top of the gunwalls. May end up doing it later. Superfreaks have very low profile and rounded gunwalls and I still managed to smash my taint a few times on tweaked out landings. That's not an awesome feeling. I'm going to ride it for a while and see how it goes. Smashing the gunwalls is going to happen regardless unless it's a flat deck so I just need to think of what my plan is. I kinda like the shape of them and I may be able to do an angle cut rather than a radius but I'm really not looking to affect the gelcoat. My foothold mod is hidden under the turf so that was simple.

I agree the sharp lines are sick. That is one of the things I really like about that hull and also the ride plate hull extensions among other things. But respect ur taint.. I keep looking not sure what I would do of it were mine but your probably right best option would be angle cut it. Anyway congrats on the new ski it looks sick and cant wait to see some riding pics.

Wow this boat is so killer!! Had a good little ride in Daytona today with decent conditions and I have to say this hull is so fun on the face of a wave and does exactly what you want it to do. It rotates nicely for backflips and it does exactly what you want it to do at any point in time. I can turn flat and slash clean waves or I can carve the schit out of the face like a snowboard without coming unhooked or come at a wave with speed and lay it over on the rail and rip into a breaker and bank the lip like a berm. Hard to describe since anybody could say the same thing about any hull but this thing is very playful and fun. It's a very capable hull in all assets. I'm blown away!
The 964 is spot on and very powerful yet linear and manageable I'm likely going to tame it down a little and possibly switch out the TNT chamber for a B pipe super jet chamber and go a little steeper on the impeller pitch. This is going to be a fun year!

Yeah man you'll love it. I took a risk buying this hull without ever riding one . I got to try one in Daytona quickly which made me less nervous because it was pretty fun but I didn't get a real good judgment on it. Now that I have mine built and rode it a few times I must really say I'm honestly blown away and I would put this hull against anything. I feel like I won the lottery on this gamble!

Skat mag pump broke after 3 rides so I was down for a while. Installed a Solas mag to remedy the issue. The Solas is much nicer IMO and the added weight is nothing that concerns me. I used a sandpaper barrel on a die grinder to scuff the pump where the front bearing sits since some Solas pumps have slightly tight tolerances. The Solas cooling line fittings are installed in a much better location over the Skat also to avoid the steering cable

It's still up in the air. A local buddy wants to watch the surf report and make a last minute decision based on that since we live 30 minutes from surf with warmer weather. I'd definitely like to go but I tend to agree with him on that

I actually sold my Skat C75 14/19 and bought a 15/19 but when the Skat pump broke it jammed the impeller on so bad that it pulled threads the whole way while removing it. Now I have a borrowed 13/19 in there for the time being and I need to get a tap for the 15/19 or buy another. I'm trying to make it to Wavedaze so I will be spinning a 13/19 for a little while. It hooks up enough to ride but is definitely being over powered. I don't need all the power this 964 lays down anyway so I'm ok with it. The Solas is good I like it. I compared to the Skat and the vanes are 5mm longer on the Solas but they are less rounded where they meet the outer housing so I'm sure the pump volume is comparable. I definitely like the Solas construction in comparison to the Skat
