You're lucky your wife has a vinyl cutter. I've been wanting one for a while now. I have so many designs I wanna cut, but don't wanna pay someone else to do it. lol
I only paid like $300 for the vinyl cutter she has made a good amount of $$ making decals on eBay. Plus she has made all our registration numbers and other decals for our skis and our dirt toys

If you look in the bottom of the pole, the holes were the tubes go are oval shaped and not round .
Bending/smashing them helps. Me and @Twake struggled for a few minutes trying to get them in.. We put them in the pole first and then put them threw the bracket and pulled them from the inside of the hull.. If you use pinch bolts install them into the pole before the tubes.. I couldn't imagine using a pole bolt.. theres no way..

I always start the tubes up into the pole before installing and cut a 2" seam in each tube so I can collapse them to get them going down into the hulk and then spin them enough so that there's still good engagement inside the pole and it extends into the hull far enough past the seams.
