2015/2016 phantom!!!!

I'm pretty excited to start this build thread. I should have started this thread when I started collecting all my parts for the new build. I Called @sinisterjosh209 back in July/August to place my order. I missed the dead line by about 2 weeks cause he wasn't taking any order since he was getting hulls ready for world finals. He told me he prolly wouldn't be able to start until the beginning of November. I was fine with that since I needed time to get all my parts together and I wanted all new parts so I figured
more time = more Money for parts

Here's the first picture josh sent me of her being completed

A few days later josh personally delivered her to me

I'm going to back track to collecting all my parts before I show where we're currently at.

My donor ski was a superjet with a 760, bpipe, 44 carbs, xmetal pole land stock everything else. I decided to keep the motor, carbs, pipe, electronics and pole. Everything else I was going to TRY to buy new.

Stock motor fresh out the superjet

First part to show up was the thrust trim system. I got the blow out deal from thrust was like $200 for the nozzles and 225 for the trim system. Killllllller deal From thrust

Next came these cold fusion couplers

Cold fusion had a sale on there last 3 solas 144 mag pump for $325 which I couldn't pass up

Then along came my kart tank from komit karts

Next I had a big ordered from thrust which was my steering, rrp 50 risers, oem 144 wear ring, grips, pump/midshaft rebuild kits

I decided I wanted to get all my parts powdered coated to really make the ski pop.i decided with candy illusion blue berry and flat black

After sand blasting these were the black parts

Here's the teaser for he bedplate they sent me. It came out soooooooo clean

This is when it became crunch time I knew the hull would be ready in about two weeks so I Had to get the remaining parts ASAP. Powder coat wasn't ready for about a week.

My jetworks A series prop showed up. From what I read it should be about a 9/15.5 on pitch. Jetworks said its what my 760 needed to rip

My blowsion pole bracket and powder coat arrived all on the same day which was cool. I could finally put my pole all together and see how she looks

So after I had all these nicely power coated parts I couldn't justify putting them on this ugly 760 so I started scrubing and masking off the ports.

The before

The hulk pretty much threw up everywhere lol I'm doing some motor upgrades soon and I'll have everything repainted so it's solid I just wanted it to look better then it did. I like it

You painted everything and all looks nice...then the carbs lol. Go paint them hahah. I hope those colors will all tie together. Cool color combo I wouldn't have thought to do. Good luck with the build. These hulls seem like a solid choice!

Got the pump installed only had to use a shim on each side. Only issue thrust didn't include the smalls nuts to hold down my Trim cable

Here where those two smalls nuts go holding the cable. I called thrust and there on the way
