Hey, literally just made an account on this site heard a lot about it online Just looking for advice on my stock 2015 super jet. I want to know the best specifications to upgrade it to a good free style / free ride ski.

A little about where i drive my ski and my simple changes, I installed a bilge pump and a hydro turf groove mat , i take it out into the sea, so not much flat water.

Just looking for some guidance on what should i purchase next...and yes i have seen the post on what starter mods to put on your super jet but some of them are outdated and does not apply with the 2015 model..

id leave the bars and grips alone, no real reason to replace them.

in order of how id do it.
bilge pump
single screen on intake filters
footholds
intake grate
head
pipe
MSD Enhancer
9/15 hooker prop
solas/skat mag pump
44 mil carbs
dasa 12 mil stroker w/ dual 49's and a PFP. :D

I can't stand the stock bars way too narrow. I hate them with a passion. First thing I change so it feels right. You can get better leverage with wider bars.
Once you get used to them you will never go back. I would rather ride a stock motor with aftermarket bars then built motor with stock bars, thats how much I hate them.

I guess you can try it and form your own opinion, but this is mine.

I would go with blowsion or slippery zero degree bars and odi lock on grips.
worx 228 intake grate is good.
bilge pump is a good idea.
footholds
Then head-pipe
the other stuff if you have plenty of money to spend.

Prop and msd ignition are nice, but the smallest bang for the buck. The 08 and newer sj's have a very good big hub prop from the factory. I have the msd too and its slightly better than stock.

i just got 14 few months back ,go with bars grips steering then foothold, pole spring if keeping pole , then do intake grate that ride plate is good u could just cut it to what u like ,go with 2007 0r older steering cable its longer then stock for faster steering then motor mods after that

Don't ruin it with footholds. Get a bpipe, head, msd, air filters, put in needles to adjust the carbs, 9/15-10/16 hooker, bars, pole spring, intake grate and rideplate.

i have a 14' superjet. deffinetly do blowsion d-cut carbon fiber rideplate. highly suggest doing the steering mod its makes a huge difference in tight turning (there is a page on here that tells you how to), i also cut my pole -5 inches. bars + grips on order. next im going to do a few minor engine mods head, domes, b-pipe. theres no reason to change your prop from what ive read and herd until you change to a solas/mag pump

Don't ruin it with footholds? Footholds were the best mod I ever did to a ski.

I already installed footholds was my first mod big difference to a stock tray for the surf
Absolutely! It was honestly my favorite mod out of a new prop, ada head, new pole, etc. Footholds take your riding to a whole different level.

Its possible to bend the OEM bars. I decreased the bend of the stockers down to roughly 5 degrees from straight. Just remove the grips carefully. Put a breaker bar tube over each end and pull from front of ski. Small increments at a time. Reapply grips with 5200 adhesive. And reinsert end screw. I tried straight (0 degree) with larger grips and it felt like I was gripping a bowling ball. Hated straight.
