Just got this shipped out to Oman by Pete M at FP skis. Been working on it slowly. I have to say the fit and finish is superb. Love the lines on it.

Motor choice is a JM781.

I am based overseas and needed a turnkey solution motor wise so got in touch with Jetmaniac who sent me out everything needed to get the assembly finished.

Completely built Blue Ported 781 motor ready to run. Lightened Flywheel, Enhancer, Surf coil. All nice surfy components. Just fitted the FA, FP exhaust manifold and headpipe and it's ready to go in.

All done. Test fired the 781 sounds meaner than some of my bigger motors!
Primed and motor started first time and idled well

Engine bay is really spacious. Never felt like I couldn't access anything. Easy assembly, no torque wrench near this thing. I have to say the fit and finish is top notch. No shims anywhere.

Didn't want to go crazy with this one, just a solid easy running setup that's easy to maintain and keep working for a few years.

Anyway raptor rides really nice. Very stable and planted. Can still break it loose and initiate a nice drift but otherwise it's on rails and very precise. Still on break in so taking it easy. Think it's going to be a very fun ski. Pics and vids soon.

How does the ski ride compared to Rickter skis. Im 6'1 and I always felt like the rickter i had to lean forward. Maybe i was on one with the wrong ride plate it was a demo ski. I dont see much about this brand often they look amazing.

I lean pretty far back on it to keep the nose up. Ski rides nose down with a full tank. Had a really nice spec Edge. The raptor feels really good. Like a surf super jet only much improved. It's long and doesn't get bumped/pushed around. I wish Yamaha would buy the molds and make them.

That's all I can tell from 2 tanks.
