Just finished my new RIP on Sunday 4-10-16. Pretty happy with how things turned out. Here is the chronicle. Hope it may help others out with their projects.

Thanks yamanube. The 66e may be a bit heavier than the T motors but having a stock form 78mm crank is a big plus! All motors have potential. It's up to us to put things in the right places...

You may want to weigh it again if it's glass... The last 5 I've weighed were all around 80lbs.

Your right Smitty. That is what I get for listening to someone else. Lol The guy that told me 55 must have had a carbon setup. Jeff confirmed 75-80 for the glass setup, my bad
I am sure of the 265 number as Adam and I weighed it Sunday morning before my hands went numb...

nice work! I gotta get on one of these this summer. That wrap looks killer, can't wait to hear your feedback on the motor!

Do these ride good in surf?

Thank's schicks. I have been running this motor in a ROK for the past 3 years and it runs well! Did some transfer work for this year and narrowed up the intake side of the Pistons to hopefully add a tic more.

Not sure on the surf rid ability. I'm a flat water guy in MI. From The short ride I did get on Sunday I felt the hull was very predictable. Someone else who has surf experience with one can chime in here but I would guess it would be fine...
