2017 Superjet with Metal steering plate

I just put a Metal steering system and the direction cable is damaging the plastic of the right side of the chin pad

Is there any trick

Just take a Dremel and remove the material that is interfering with the cable. Shouldn’t be much.

Happens with most steering systems with the stock chin pad. I let mine rub for a little bit then clearanced it where there witness mark was.

I have a 2018. Once you put better bars in it they will rub. I never chopped mine I just let it wear.
